A helpful assistant.
On your own website.
AgentReady connects your WordPress site to your property workspace. You need permission to install plugins and an active AgentReady service.
1. Create your workspace
Open your AgentReady account, enter your agency name and website address, and save your settings. The service checks the requesting website domain. The public widget key is an identifier, not a secret.
2. Add your properties
Use Add property in the Properties tab, or download the CSV template and import your listings. Matching external IDs update existing properties. Mark sold, rented, reserved or archived properties to remove them from assistant results. Export Excel files as UTF-8 CSV first. Keep prices, descriptions and availability up to date.
Download property CSV template3. Install the WordPress plugin
Download the ZIP below. In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin. Select the ZIP, install it and activate AgentReady.
Download WordPress plugin4. Connect your assistant
Go to Settings → AgentReady in WordPress. Copy the service address and public client key from the Install tab in your AgentReady account. Save your changes, then click Test saved connection. If your site uses a cache or JavaScript delay plugin, clear its cache and exclude widget.js from delay or combination.
Choose chat placement
In WordPress → Settings → AgentReady, show the floating launcher everywhere, only on selected pages or listings, or everywhere except selected IDs. Choose Inline shortcode only to turn off the floating launcher. Add [agentready_chat] to a WordPress Shortcode block or Elementor Shortcode widget to place a chat inside a contact page. Inline placement replaces the floating launcher on that page. Use one shortcode per page and test the published page.
5. Test the visitor journey
Open your website in a private browser window. Search for a known listing, submit a test enquiry and check that it appears in your lead inbox. Try a human handover and reply from the Conversations tab.
6. Configure the visitor experience
In Settings, set your assistant name, welcome text and agency privacy notice. You can enable or disable the assistant, enquiries and human handover independently. The appearance panel previews your changes before saving, offers colour presets and lets you restore factory defaults without deleting customer records or disconnecting your account. Optional lead screening adds budget, timeline, buying finance and preferred contact to the enquiry form. These answers are self-reported, not verified. Telegram alerts are optional: save your bot token and chat ID, enable alerts, then use Send test to Telegram. Replies are sent from Conversations, not Telegram.
7. Manage follow-ups and data
Open enquiries to set a priority, add private notes and choose a follow-up date. Follow-up dates are shown in the inbox; they do not send scheduled reminders. The overview shows waiting visitors, new enquiries and follow-ups due. In Conversations, select a visitor to open the focused agent desk; use Load earlier messages for older history. Saved replies are managed in Settings and inserted into a draft before you send. Reports shows daily conversations and enquiries. Settings offers a full newline-delimited JSON export and an enquiry CSV export, plus a preview-and-confirm cleanup for old finished enquiries and ended conversations. Export your data before deleting records. Deleting a conversation also deletes its messages; related enquiries remain separate.
Before inviting customers
Your service address must be publicly accessible, AI must be connected for AI answers, and your published privacy information must describe the handling of visitor messages. A private review site cannot serve a widget on a public WordPress site.
